Why does it seem like on Sundays - in church - during the sacrament- that Miles chooses to say all kinds of funny things? Last Sunday he was sitting on my lap, facing me, during the sacrament and he suddenly points to my chest and says, "What are these? What ARE thems?" I went bright red and quickly grabbed his hands and tried to distract him but he was determined. He kept repeating himself and pulling his hands free and pointing. Both Brian and I were trying so hard not to laugh out loud. What a silly boy. I mean they've been there all along - why in the world did he have to ask right at that moment?

Love him
Miles falls asleep sometimes during the day - which means a late bedtime. After a nap a few days ago he kept coming out of bed to tell us something. After coming out at least 4 or 5 times he came out again and I said, "What do you need buddy?" And very seriously he said, "Mommy. Me has bad news." I stifled a giggle and said, "What is it?" and he said, "Me got an owie at libary." I just love when kids say grown up sounding phrases and you wonder where they heard it from!

Funnies
Sophie was talking to my mom on the phone today and was telling my mom about the Smurfs. We saw a preview for a new Smurf movie a few weeks ago and Sophie is excited to see it when it comes out. My mom told her that I used to watch the Smurfs when I was a little girl and Sophie said to her, "Well, the Smurfs still exist here in Michigan!" Haha!
Miles and I were waving good-bye to Brian today as he drove off to go home teaching. As he drove off Miles turns to me and says, "Him's a dood duy." (He's a good guy)
