Little by little...

Today the girls were playing with some paper people cut-outs that are church related. I was in the kitchen getting dinner ready and could hear the girls playing in the office together. Here is the best part of the conversation I overheard:

Nora: "Kill, kill! I am killing all of them!"

Sophie: "Stop! Why do you have to kill everyone?"

Nora: "Ummmm. I don't know. Because I am a Lamanite I guess."

It seems like no matter how much we try to focus on the happy/good stories in the scriptures the kids really pick up on the more exciting/scary parts! But hey, she did retain something so that's good! Little by little I guess!

Sweet moments..

Last night I was so proud of Sophie! I had bought her some brand new jammies and she was so excited about them. When Nora saw them she started crying because she wanted some (I couldn't justify buying her any because she has all of sophie's old ones that fit just fine!) When Sophie saw Nora so upset she immediately took them off and let Nora wear them. I was so proud of her and thought it was so sweet because I had literally given them to her like 5 minutes before bedtime and she had just put them on. Moments like those are ones to remember. So sweet!

So my family blog is under construction. I really hate changing the layout because it deletes all of the link lists. But the last one was making me crazy so I just had to change it. Hopefully this one lasts longer (or I can find a better way that won't delete all of the links!)
